Well, it has been a labour of love, but finally they’ve arrived (and they look magnificent, many thanks to all contributors). Price £6, please do support us by buying. They’re already for sale at Adlington Post Office and Wright Reads, Horwich, and at the Tearooms. Other outlets to follow soon!

Come along on Sunday between 12:00 and 16:00. Our beautiful Chapel will be open for visitors to look around. As in previous years we will also be selling preserves, books, bric-a-brac and Christmas Cards.

We will also be taking advance orders for the Rivington Chapel 2022 Calendar which will be published very shortly.

After a period of issuing shorter news sheets, we are now back to producing a quarterly Newsletter.

As we are now back in a National Lockdown, we have decided that it would be best to stop holding services in the Chapel for the time being. This is disappointing, but we feel this is the safest option for the members of the congregation as the spread of COVID-19 is increasing so rapidly. Rivington is certainly not alone in taking this action – Chow Bent and Park Lane Unitarian Chapels, among many other churches have also decided to close.

Services will continue online via Zoom on the first and third Sundays of the month, and we hope that as many of you as possible will join us
