Rites of Passage

Weddings, Naming Ceremonies and Funerals can all be held in our beautiful Chapel although all are currently subject to COVID restrictions.

Naming Ceremonies

Naming ceremonies or child blessings are the Unitarian equivalent of christenings.

Ceremonies are tailored to suit the individual needs and wishes of the parents and family of the child.

For further details of what to expect at a Unitarian naming ceremony please see this leaflet.

Weddings

The Chapel’s picturesque setting makes it a popular place for weddings, sometimes involving different nationalities and always of a personal nature.

The Chapel is registered to perform marriages of both mixed-sex and same-sex couples.

A picture of the wedding couple outside the front door is de rigueur
